Planning Permission for our new school building

Yesterday we received the wonderful news that Planning Permission for our new school had been granted by Fingal County Council. This was great news and another important step towards our permanent home. There are , of course, more steps and hurdles to overcome over the next few months. There are four weeks now where appeals to the decision can be lodged. We remain cautiously optimistic that the academic year 2010/2011 will be our last year in temporary accommodation. The Department of Education have said that the actual building will take about 24 weeks to complete.
