I am delighted to formally launch our new school blog. A huge big thank you to Úna Walsh for all her hard work in getting the blog up and running.  Úna came to me a few months ago with the idea for a school blog and has worked tirelessly since to turn that idea into reality. Úna has succeeded in training both staff and children so that we are all ready now for Launch Day!

I hope that the blog will enhance communication between home and school- it is a great opportunity for parents to glimpse some of the work that the children do in school.  I hope that everyone (both bloggers and readers) will get a lot of fun and enjoyment from the blog.  I’d also encourage anyone who hasn’t contributed yet to take the plunge – there’s a first time for everything!
